Share your MARS Experience
As you know, the CCSP certification requires you to pass 3 exams: SNRS, SNAF, IPS and one of three optional exams CANAC, MARS or SNAA but currently this site has only materials for CCNA Security 640-553. Many candidates have requested us to put up materials for other exams but it is a time-consuming work. In the mean time, we created the “Share your experience” for the MARS exam. We really hope anyone who read securitytut, 9tut, digitaltut, certprepare, networktut and voicetut contribute to these sections as your experience is invaluable for CCSP learners to complete their goals.
Please share with us your experience after taking the MARS exam, your materials, the way you learned, your recommendations…

Use pnadmin as the user name and password. If this does not work, the only way to reset the password on a MARS sensor is to use the recovery DVD, which basically reimages the appliance. Make sure you have your license key written down before you use the recovery CD/DVD. Refer to Recovering a Lost Administrative Password for more information on how to reset the password on CS-MARS.
Recovering a Lost Administrative Password
If you lose the password associated with the pnadmin account, you cannot recover the password. You must re-image the appliance, which resets the password to the factory defaults, as described in Re-Imaging a Local Controller, and Re-Imaging a Global Controller. If you have configured the MARS Appliance to archive data, as described in Configuring and Performing Appliance Data Backups, you can also recover the configuration and event data using the procedure in Restoring Archived Data after Re-Imaging a MARS Appliance.
